One of the most important things about us is the story we tell ourselves about ourselves. Often times that story is tangled up in a mess of lies we’ve been told and believed. I want to help you see the truth about you, God and the world we live in so that the hope you have is brighter than the darkness you face. My goal is to provide a warm and safe environment where you feel comfortable to share openly about the challenges you are facing and make progress towards the goals you hope to achieve.
I primarily work with couples, adults, adolescents and kids. My experience includes but is not limited to: depression, anxiety, divorce, infidelity, life transitions, faith struggles, young men navigating their path in life, premarital couples and newly married couples.
Previously, I worked as a pastor for 10 years and specifically as a pastoral counselor for four years. While working in the church, I had the honor of bearing witness to the stories of so many who have experienced deep pain. I have been married to my wife Michelle for 10 years and I have two young daughters who keep us busy. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University and am expecting to graduate in the summer of 2024. I am certified in the Prepare and Enrich premarital program.
I would be honored to hold space for you and work alongside you to move forward in your journey towards wholeness.
