Licensed Professional Counselor

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and the word itself often brings uncertainty. My goal as a counselor is not to change who you are, but to empower you to recognize your strengths, process your experiences, and create a life filled with hope, healing, and fulfillment. I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I work collaboratively with clients to foster growth, resilience, and meaningful change. I believe counseling is not an end point, but a journey; one we walk together.

As a former teacher, I have spent years working closely with children and adolescents, witnessing firsthand the struggles, pain, and challenges many carry. That experience inspired me to pursue counseling so I could offer deeper support and help individuals and families navigate life’s difficulties. I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages can explore their thoughts and feelings, build confidence, and discover tools for lasting growth.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (K–12) and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. As a fully licensed therapist, I have experience helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and relationship struggles. I am passionate about continuing to grow through ongoing education and clinical experience so I can provide compassionate, effective care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Outside of counseling, I am a wife and mother of three. My family and I love exploring the world around us, trying new experiences, and making meaningful memories together. My experiences as a wife, mother, and educator have deepened my understanding of the joys and challenges life can bring, allowing me to connect with clients in a genuine and compassionate way. My hope is to help each client feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their own unique journey toward healing and growth.
