“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of…bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”― Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo

There’s no doubt that healing takes courage. It takes stepping out, reaching out, and going outside our comfort zones to better understand ourselves and the hardships we face. This is where you and I meet. Together we will set goals to address challenges, cultivate resilience, and embrace positive change. Whether you’re navigating the trials of parenthood, grappling with the stress of life transitions, managing a chronic illness, or struggling with anxiety and depression, I’m here to support you on your journey.

I hold a Master’s in Crisis Response & Trauma Counseling and a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My approach to therapy is holistic and client-centered which means I pull from various modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Attachment-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and more.

I am a wife, a stepmom, and a dog mom to Radar and Atlas. In my spare time, you may find me gardening, spending time with my family, reading, or listening to the occasional crime podcast. I am passionate about neurobiology and the connection between chronic illness and unprocessed traumas. As a stepmom, I understand the challenges of navigating two households with kids involved which led to a desire to help families create an environment in their home for their children to flourish no matter the hard experiences they may face. I enjoy working with parents and children to help identify triggers, increase emotional regulation, and create healthy routines that will support your family. As you step into my office, my hope is for you to experience peace, compassion, and support to explore all that life throws your way.
