“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally‬‭ twenty seconds of…bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”―‬Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo‬

‬There’s no doubt that healing takes courage. It takes stepping out, reaching out, and‬ going outside our comfort zones to better understand ourselves and the patterns that‬ shape us. As we meet together, we will set goals to address challenges, cultivate‬ resilience, and embrace positive change. Whether you’re navigating the trials of‬ parenthood, grappling with the stress of life transitions, managing a chronic illness, or‬ struggling with anxiety and depression, I’m here to support you on your journey.‬

I hold two graduate degrees: first, a Master’s in Crisis Response & Trauma Counseling‬ and second, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Liberty‬ University. I am EMDR-Trained and a TBRI Practitioner.

I am a wife and a stepmom. In my spare time, you may find me cooking something new,‬ cuddling with my pup on the couch watching a good tv show, or spending time with my‬‭ family. As a stepmom, I understand the challenges of navigating two households, which‬‭ led to a desire to help families through this transition. I work closely with families to‬‭ identify patterns, increase felt-safety, connection, and self-regulation, and create healthy‬ routines that will support them along the way. Using TBRI, I take a strong‬‭ parent-involvement approach that builds connection and heals attachment. As you step‬‭ into my office, my hope is for you to experience empathy, compassion, and support to‬‭ explore all that life throws your way.

I am supervised by Michelle Fitzhugh MA, LPC-S, EMDR and see ages 8+ in-person‬‭ and virtually. I also offer intensives, parent workshops, and TBRI Caregiver Trainings for‬‭ families and organizations.‬
