Throughout the different phases of my career, this Wooden quote has been my personal philosophy. As a former teacher, coach, and ministry leader, I have learned that the gift of caring and nurturing is among the best healers. As a counselor-in-training, I believe that my ability to care for, encourage, and empathize with my clients will create a solid foundation as I grow into my calling as a therapist. God has brought me on my own journey, through joys, heartbreaks, and healing. I know firsthand the courage it takes to work on the hard stuff, to be vulnerable, and to be willing to face your struggles head-on. I believe the coming alongside you on your journey is the ultimate privilege and will be there to encourage and equip you every step of the way.
I have been married for 17 years to my husband, Blake. Together, we have two active and awesome boys: Carter (13) and Greyson (10). I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I am currently finishing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.
In my spare time, you can usually find me at the baseball field with Carter or at the theatre with my little actor, Greyson. I love to play games…and even more if I win! Spending time with my family and friends is what I love most! I am also an active member of the Women’s Ministry at RockPointe Church in Flower Mound.
