Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Clinical Director
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Evangel University and a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been counseling for 30+ years and am so grateful to get to collaborate with those who are struggling in order to help them find hope, healing, and freedom for themselves and their relationships. I have experience in psychiatric inpatient settings, group therapy, and private practice working with individuals, families, and couples. I utilize therapeutic methods that come from a wide variety of evidence-based psychotherapy based on the needs of each client. My approach is client-centered, strength-based, and goal-oriented. My training includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT), and Gottman Levels 1 and 2 Method for Couples Therapy.
I have been married for 33 years and have three adult children. Our family has, along with every other human on earth, experienced challenges and pain as we have traveled this road together. But we have found that with determination and grit and the willingness to ask for help, we can overcome, grow, and heal together. We have also found it to be true that “life is hard, but God is good”, and there is always hope for healing and freedom in our lives.
