Mara holds an associate’s degree in behavioral science, a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and a dual-track master’s degree in marriage & family therapy and professional counseling. She is trained in EMDR, Gottman Method, and Prepare-Enrich. Her professional experience includes working in a drug rehabilitation center, with veterans and active military, in the community and church, with survivors of trauma, and with families in crisis. She is originally from New England and has been married over 20 years. Mara is the proud mom of a daughter at Berklee College of Music and a son in Keller ISD high school.
