Ashleigh Stateson, MA Professional Counseling, LPC-Intern
Supervised by Dr. Shannon Wolf, LPC-S
I consider it an honor and privilege to walk alongside my clients as they face the challenges life often brings. It is my desire to listen, support and help children, adolescents, adults and families renew their hope and find healing!
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-focused therapy as well as other evidence-based therapy techniques when working with my clients to reach their therapeutic goals and realize the change they desire to experience in their lives. I have a wide array of experience working with clients who have faced abuse of all kinds, trauma, depression, anger issues, anxiety, mood disorders, low self-esteem, difficulty adjusting to life changes and a variety of other issues.
I am a follower of Christ and I have experienced firsthand the power of faith as I relied of God’s promises and scriptural truth to carry me through health struggles in my own life! This has given me a deep passion to work with clients who are facing health challenges and chronic illness. When my clients desire to incorporate faith, prayer and scripture in their counseling process, I am equipped to share the wisdom, encouragement and healing found in God’s Word.
I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.
I am passionate about helping people and I strive to provide a safe, judgment-free environment for my clients to feel safe and valued as we walk together towards a place of complete healing, a place of Redeemed Life!
